NEORIS appoints José Antonio López Fernández new Insurance Director in Spain - Asset Display Page

Madrid, February 14, 2023. As part of its expansion and growth strategy, NEORIS, the global digital accelerator with more than 22 years of experience, has announced the appointment of José Antonio López Fernández as the new Director of the Insurance division in Spain. In his new role, and as part of the NEORIS Financial Services team, López Fernández will be in charge of strengthening the company's position in the national insurance market, an area they have been investing in for several years.
“The financial services business has always been one of the strongest within our global strategy, which is why we must continue strengthening our position in this area in every market in which we operate. With the appointment of José Antonio López, we will more than achieve this objective given his extensive experience in a market that is key to maintaining our growth strategy in the country,” explained Jaime Peñaranda, Global Financial Services Director at NEORIS.
For his part, José Antonio López Fernández stated: “I am very excited about the new challenge that has been presented to me. Being part of a company that has not stopped growing, despite the challenges that society as a whole has faced – and still continues to face – is a very important step in my professional career. I hope to contribute all my experience and knowledge so that NEORIS can position itself as a key provider in the insurance sector.”
José Antonio López Fernández has a degree in Economics from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and has a PDD from IESE Business School, a Master's Degree in Insurance Management from ICEA, in addition to the Group A Mediator Certification, also from ICEA. He has more than 20 years of experience in the IT services sector, of which more than ten have been dedicated to the insurance business, after having served as Director of this area at Bull and Grupo Oesía. In addition, he was a Director of the information technology and services company Altran, now known as Capgemini Engineering.
