Madrid, Spain, September 20, 2023. According to the World Economic Forum, the advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) will create 97 million new jobs by 2025. Importantly, this technology will not only generate new jobs - such as prompt engineer or AI trainer - it will also simplify tasks and free people from mundane activities that do not add value, allowing them to focus on those that are critical for companies.

With this in mind, NEORIS, the digital accelerator with more than 23 years of experience in the technology sector, participated in CIONET People & Organization Quest 2023, a meeting focused on the role of new technologies for the future of people and business management, highlighting the latest trends in culture, technology and collaboration.

Cristina Valles, Spain Country Manager and HR Director for NEORIS, participated in the gathering’s “CIO Meets CHRO” discussion panel. Among other topics, Valles highlighted the importance of employee training and creating initiatives that offer a good experience to talents through the use of new technologies including AI.

“We are facing a transformative new era that will force leaders to redefine their strategies and prepare their teams to tackle new challenges. We believe that the true potential of new technologies lies in how we can use them in collaboration with others for the benefit of human talent, since we can never forget that behind each algorithm and AI technology there always have to be people with unique skills, creativity and experience,” commented a NEORIS spokesperson.

According to the association DigitalES, Spain ended 2022 with more than 120,000 unfilled jobs due to the lack of specialized profiles, representing an increase of 70% compared to the previous year. In an effort to address this situation, NEORIS created the program “Promoting Talent” which is designed to respond to the needs of the labor market and mitigate the lack of talent in the sector, training people from different professional backgrounds to learn information technologies. In addition, the company created the campaign “NEOS” which is the first initiative developed 100% with AI. This unique program turns its talents into avatars and brand ambassadors, making them part of an ongoing process to continue strengthening the employer brand and aid the company's recruitment efforts within the technology sector.
